NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will begin announcing first-round picks for NBA teams Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

It looks like Auburn Tigers forward Jabari Smith Jr. is the consensus No. 1 overall pick this year as the Orlando Magic make the top pick for the fourth time. Current odds at DraftKings have Smith as a -300 favorite on Wednesday.
While the Heat don’t have specific draft odds, their odds of winning the 2022-23 NBA Finals are +1600, while their odds of winning the Eastern Conference are +700.
What picks does the Heat have?
Miami currently holds the No. 27 pick. This will be their only pick after losing a second-round pick because the league determined the team was breaking the NBA free-hand rules regarding the signing of Kyle Lowry injured in the last year. The Heat are also rumored to be open to trading with the election.
Miami’s No. 56 pick is held by the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the No. 55 pick is the one actually sanctioned.
